The Request

I sent this FOIA to the Massachusetts Treasurer's Office:

All emails (including attachments) between any @tre.state.ma.us email address and any @IsraelBonds.com email address.

Time span: Jan 1, 2021 to present.

The Response

This is a big one. It's 1,073 pages. Unfortunately, the vast majority are generic marketing emails from Israel Bonds, repeated over-and-over for each recepient at tre.state.ma.us.

I identifed some interesting needles among all the marketing emails:

page 540: "Accepted: Israel Bonds 2022 Food and Beverage Event" Theresa Doran-Lunny Emily Kowtoniuk Chandra Bork Suzanne Morson Lizandra Gomes

page 650: "I would like to register the following three individuals from the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission who will be attending this years event"

Chairman Jean Lorizio Executive Director Ralph Sacramone Deputy Executive Director Ryan Melville

page 655: "Israel Bonds Boston invites you to are Annual Beverage Industry Event"

page 823: James MacDonald reaching out IsraelBonds "interested in looking at them"

page 870: more on the "Israel Bonds 2022 Food and Beverage Event" it might have been canceled?

Conclusion

I think the most interesting email was from James MacDonald. He reached out to Israel Bonds on Oct 20, 2023 to investigate making a purchase. Unfortunately, I didn't find any response to James, at least in this dump of emails.
